WARRANTY POLICY: OSIM Australia

Please take a moment to read the following warranty information for important terms and conditions before using your new OSIM product(s).
COVERAGE GUIDELINES
The warranty period begins from the original purchase date or the date of delivery, whichever is later. Please note that warranties are only valid for products purchased from official OSIM outlets within Australia. In the unlikely event that your chair malfunctions or requires servicing, kindly contact OSIM Australia at +61 2 9133 8740 or email us at info@osim.com.au. To proceed with any warranty claim, proof of purchase (such as an invoice or purchase receipt) must be provided for verification.
1.0 Standard Warranty
1.01 The warranty is offered by OSIM Australia, with charge, to the purchaser of an applicable OSIM Product (“Product”) and is only valid in the country of original purchase (Australia).
1.02 The warranty is a value-add service, offered by OSIM Australia, that begins upon the 1st day of purchase for Massage Chair, for a min. period of 1year OR the period stated in the OSIM Sales Order / Invoice provided upon purchase of any applicable product.
1.03 The warranty is not transferable, negotiable, or assignable to any third party.
1.04 The warranty is not a guarantee or promise relating to the nature of the material, workmanship, or performance of the product.
1.05 OSIM Australia reserves the right to replace the product or relevant part with the same or equivalent product or part, rather than repair it. Where a replacement is provided the product or part replaced becomes the property of OSIM Australia. OSIM Australia may replace parts with refurbished parts. Replacement of the product or part does not extend or restart the standard warranty period nor extended warranty period.
1.06 The total value of all repairs and/ or replacements made during the term of the warranty shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product.
1.07 Proof of Purchase must be presented when requesting service under the Warranties Period. The repair will be at owner’s cost if there is no evidence that the product is within warranty period.
1.08 Subject to the applicable consumer laws in your jurisdiction, both Standard, Limited and Extended Warranties do not include all packing, freight, and insurance costs for transit of the product to OSIM Australia. The product will be at owner’s risk whilst in transit to and from OSIM Australia.
1.09 OSIM Australia and its authorized service centres may seek reimbursement of any costs incurred by them when the product is found to be in good working order.
1.10 Standard Warranty is including Parts and Labour, as below:
1.10.1 Coverage Area: Metro Area (within 50 km from Locations: NSW-Regents Park / VIC-Ringwood / QLD-Copper Plains / Perth-Malaga)
1.10.2 Non-Coverage Area: Non-Metro Area (over 50 km from Locations)
1.10.2.1 Call-out Fee will be quoted and applied.
1.10.2.2 Transportation to nearest Repair Centre can be arranged upon quotation request.
2.0 OSIM Care - Extended Warranty (Massage Chairs ONLY)
2.01 The Extended Warranty is offered by OSIM Australia, with charge, to the purchaser of an applicable OSIM Product (“Product”) and is only valid in the country of original purchase (Australia).
2.02 Extended Warranty Details may refer to Standard Warranty.
2.03 The Extended Warranty may ONLY be purchased on the same day when Customer made the purchase for massage chair. The Extended Warranty period automatically begins upon expiration of the Standard Warranty Period.
2.04 OSIM Australia is entitled to terminate the extended warranty by written notice to the owner, in the event that, in OSIM Australia’s opinion, the product is used contrary to its specifications, in which case OSIM Australia will not pay a refund for the unexpired period of the extended warranty factory.
3.0 Limited Warranty
3.01 Limited Warranty provided 3 Years Warranty, as below:
3.01.1 1st year – Including Parts & Labour (Same as Standard Warranty)
3.01.2 2nd & 3rd year – cover Labour ONLY, Parts is chargeable needed.

4.0 Warranties Exclusions and Limitations
To the full extent permitted by law, the standard and extended warranties will not apply:
4.01 The product must have been purchased from an authorized store or retailer.
4.02 All service covered by this warranty must be approved by OSIM Australia and repairs performed by authorized technicians.
4.03 If the product has not been installed, maintained, or used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions provided with the product.
4.04 If the factory applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product.
4.05 Normal wear and tear; to damage, malfunction or failure resulting from alternations, accident, misuse, abuse, fire, liquid spoilage, mis-adjustment of customer controls; due to incorrect voltage, power surges and dips, thunderstorm activity, acts of god, voltage supply problems, unauthorized repairs by any persons, use of defective or incompatible accessories, exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions or entry by any insect, vermin or foreign object in the product, including but not limited to the upholstery, padding, and power cord.
4.06 To damage arising during transportation, installation or while moving the product, or to any transportation costs of the product or any parts thereof to and from the owner.
4.07 Damage or defects caused by natural disasters, power surges, or other external factors beyond our control.
4.08 To any failure to the extent that the failure is not a failure of the product to perform in accordance with its specifications.
4.09 The replacement or repair of any (1) consumables – including leather, fabric, woods, foam, pads, plastics, upholsteries, batteries, and cables, any exterior coverings or (2) lost parts or accessories.
4.10 To service of any product whilst it is outside Australia.
4.11 OSIM will not be liable for any loss, damage, or alternations to third party hardware or software or any part of the product, no matter how occurring, or for any loss or damage arising from loss of use, loss of profits or for any resulting indirect or consequential loss or damage.
4.12 The warranties will not apply, if the product is intended to be used, or is used at any time, in commercial, business, industrial or rental applications.
4.13 Limitation of Liability - Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product or its defective parts. We shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the product, or for any claim by any other party.
